Marking the first collaborative effort between Creative Future and Colette, this book is a testament to Colette’s importance for contemporary culture and a curated document of the artists that have worked, collaborated and exhibited with Colette since it officially opened on rue Saint-Honoré in Paris in 1997.
Aimed at portraying the unique seventeen-year history of Colette and the artists that have played an important part in its legacy as a cultural institution, the book examines the artistic processes, approaches and ideas of these artists, as well as their unique relationship and affliation with Colette. With elaborate conversations and in-depth discussions, the book gives an honest, personal and authentic look into the Colette gallery and the many artists it has collaborated with over the years.
Compiled in close collaboration with Colette, the book features a special cover artwork designed by the Brooklyn-based artist, KAWS. Limited to 1000 copies worldwide, each copy is individually signed and numbered, and comes hand-packaged with a poster and a special Creative Future x Colette paint brush.
